BECAUSE OF LOVE

One of the greatest need of humanity is to feel loved and have a sense of belonging to a group of people. Love can be felt and yet cannot be touched. It cannot be seen and yet its works can be seen. Love doesn’t have hands and yet it has nursed multitudes. Love has no language and yet it is understood by all. What is love really? Love is kind and patient, never jealous- boastful-proud, or rude. Love isn’t selfish or quick tempered. It doesn’t keep a record of wrongs that others do. Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. Love never fails! (I Corinthians 13: 4- 8 NEC). Who can be loved? Love energises you to do good for others. Love energises you to love. Love energises you to smile. Love energises you to caress someone and expect nothing in return. Love is the power that propels you to give and share with others even the last crumbs from your own food basket. Love rejoices in someone else’ joy.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Whoever puts his trust in God’s Son will not be lost but will have life that lasts forever (John 3:16 NLV). Love gives and does not regret. It forgives. And love has value for others. Love is for everybody. When and where should I love? Love loves. Love knows no boundary or time. It knows no night or day, come rain or sunshine. The greatest commandment is to love one another. By loving one another the world will know that you are God’s children (John 13: 34-35). Do you want the world to know that you are a child of God- love them. Love is the only solution to hatred in this world. Look for someone who provoked you to anger and just smile to them. May everyday be your valentine.
