Thanksgiving exercise plan. 1) Hold 5 lb potato sack with
outstreched arms until tired. 2) Change to 10 sacks and repeat.
3) Switch to 25 lb sacks and repeat. 4) Gradually add potatoes to
the sacks.
When you were a kid did you sing the chorus: "Running over,
running over. My cup is full and running over. Since the Lord
saved me, I'm as happy as can be. My cup is full and running
over."? Maybe it's time to start singing it again.
One of my readers has a note at the bottom of every email -- "Get
rich quick -- count your blessings." I like that. As we approach
Thanksgiving, it's a good time to review our blessings. Is your cup
running over or are you just making it by lapping the overflow on
the saucer?
We can either sit at the table of God and enjoy His blessing or we
can sit on the floor and complain that we'e not getting enough
dropped crumbs. The difference -- attitude! Attitude affects
outlook, and outlook determines your future path.
My prayer for you this Thanksgiving and always: Psalm 20:4 (nlt),
"May He grant your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans." If you
have the right attitude, God has the fortitude. Make Him your
partner.
