THE GREATEST MIRACLE
If You open the eyes of the blind,
He would no longer stumble in the dark,
But he could feast his eyes on pornography.
If You loosened the tongue of the dumb,
She would no longer be able to restrain Your praise,
But she could kill peoples’ dreams with her words.
If You bless the deaf with the power to hear,
He would be able to hear the Word of life,
But he could destroy his heart with the enemy’s suggestions.
If You raise the dead,
She would be given a second chance to live for You,
But she could spend it on her selfish plans.
If You deliver the poor from the slum,
He would be able to provide for the needy,
But he could use his influence to oppress them.
If You save the sinner,
He would be free from the power of sin,
She would be able to serve You,
He could spend his wealth on establishing Your Kingdom,
She could devote her life to spreading Your Word,
This is why You were born, why You died,
And why You rose from the dead.
To perform the greatest miracle,
To change the human heart.
