Today....I lived, I breathed, I saw........
I enjoyed fellowship!

How can I feel this life's NOT good?
That ALL is hard....that ALL is raw?
When in the LITTLE things I see.....
A place exists......for EVEN ME!

Today....I heard soft, tender words...
Friends showed....to ME....goodwill.

How can I feel I'm all alone......
That there's no hope....that there's no love
When in the LITTLE things I hear
I KNOW a Friend is ever near!

Today.....my heart was FULL of
HOPE and LOVE.....for ALL mankind.

I saw a downtrodden derelict......
Assist another......who was blind.
How can I feel that ALL is lost....
That Earth is VOID of good?
(That ALL intent is EVIL!)
When...with my eyes...SUCH sights I see.....
When...with my ears...kind words....I hear....

By SUCH.....MY calloused heart is stirred.......
NEW HOPE is born IN ME!
