Temptation is something that is common to man.It is not strange for it to come to us.Man is exposed to it as long as we are in this world.Nevertheless.temptation coming to us is not an opprtunity to err against God,rather tempatations are to be endured.Our God is a God of integrity,he never compromises his faithfulness he will always make a way of escape. When Jesus christ was about going to the cross, we found him in gethesemane travailing in prayers before God asking if the cup could pass away from him.There is a recommendation from the master as to how to handle and resist temptations. He said 'watch ye and pray,lest ye enter into temptation.the Spirit truly is ready,but the flesh is weak.Your Spirit man is always ready to do the will of God because it is created after the image of the creator himself(God).I pondered recently why it is that the greatest enemy of a man is not the devil without but that within us.No wonder paul the Apostle wrote to the galatians making them understand that the flesh is always at war with the Spirit.Remember when God gave the law to moses,in romans it was recorded that the law was weakened by the flesh,can you imagine something as glorius as the Law which Moses received on the mount being wekened by law?(that shows you the power of the flesh).Thats why, we must like Habbakkuk, Stand upon our WATCH,give no room to the DEvil.In the Bible times there were watchmen set on towers to watch the city where they resided,when such watchmen sensed any appearance of threat or war, they immediately sounded an alarm to alert the soldiers and the entire city.In the same vein we must watch our lives and when we sense the slightest threat from the kingdom of Darkness we immediately should get on our Knees praying.
Nevertheless,its not by power nor by might but by My Spirit says the Lord of hosts. In Romans 8:11 it says that But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.So the Holy Ghost will Re-Vitalise your weak mortal bodies to do only what the Spirit of God wants. Remember that Jesus was also weak but there appeared an angel from heaven strengthening him.
Perhaps you are been tempted,or going through a trial,know this for sure that God has provided a way and means of escape.Follow your Spirit,remember it says the Spirit is Ready.The desires in your flesh will lead you to disobey God.
The Charge today is to realise that every man can live above Sin,if we can resist and overcome every temptation that comes our way. A sinless Life is possible.Whatsoever is born of God doesn't commit sin.Sin is Resistable.
Central Truth:We are overcomers by the Nature of God we got at salvation.Nevertheless our fight against sin must be consistent for in tphe bstlle is where we fight and maintain our Victory in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER:
Lord,i receive Grace to do what is appropriate.Holy Spirit let the Spirit of Might find expression in my Body that i may yield consistently to your Divine Will.
