To My Husband:
When I looked outside this morning, the rain was still softly falling and the plants on the table had these perfect little droplets of water on the leaves.... like liquid diamonds being offered up on a shiny green leaf-plate...and it reminds me of our love....

Each day is like that shiny leaf...a brand new surface on which we can design our day.... unfolding with the newness of the morning, and gaining it's life from Jesus, who gives us all the life that matters.... and each day we fill the leaf with our drops of water...our liquid diamonds offered to each other.....most are small ones.....a loving word.....a tender touch...a look that conveys words not said.....little jokes and laughter....all the small extras in the day that turn it from just passing time to moments to be cherished forever....moments that turn plain drops of water into liquid diamonds.....all these small things speak of enduring commitment to one another....priceless in this superficial world.....and of lasting love, one that is there, rock solid through any storms that may arise.....the life-giving joy of putting each other first, and our needs second.....which always comes back a thousand-fold......the peace and contentment that comes from knowing how much Jesus loves us both, and has poured out His love on us......which gives us the love we can pour out on each other......and life becomes a treasure chest full of the gems of love yet to be discovered....and I can never thank Him enough for bringing me you!
