Still on that Bible text;

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. " (John 14:6).

Today we want to consider the other half of this text. Jesus said... the life. What does that mean? "the life" this is what makes us understand that there is certain life required from us by God, so when Jesus said He is the life, He is saying your existence should revolve round about Him. He is saying, watch me and model your life after me. This is to claim the fact that Jesus is our perfect example.

In other for us to get the full knowledge of what He is saying, He then adds a very powerful statement "no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" this one statement that makes all the difference between religion and serving God. Notice the phrase "no man" which means if you ever think of getting to the father you have do what He says. No man... Means as long as you are in the image of a man whether male or female, you cant get to the father except...

He then does with "by me" please do not look at that but behold it. He didnt say through me but by me. That says after taking note of all that has been said and verified that you live by them, I must then certify you that your works are good enough to see the father (Rev 22:12).

Take some time out to ponder upon your life, where are you heading? If you can meet with Christ today, a new beginning is sure. God bless you
