David, the man after God's own heart. He has the kingdom God has given Him. He has all he could want. Saul is gone. God is using him to defeat the Philistines. Then David falls. He sleeps with Basheba, an officers wife. She becomes pregnant. David tries to convinvince her husband to sleep with her but he says no because other men of war don't get to be with their families. David orders his comanding officer to put Basheba's husband into the front lines of battle. He does it. He dies. Basheba becomes another wife. He thinks he gotten away with it. Think again. God knows all and sees all. God punnished David by the swored shall never depart from his house, evil will rise up in your own household, He will take his wives before his eyes and give them to compition and will lie with her in broad daylight, and the child also that is born to you shall surley die.
This is David's punnishment for His sin, why don't you think God will punnish you when you sin? God called us to live holy and righteous lives through His son Jesus.
