I need windows for my soul to breathe

And rainbows for the sky within my mind man

I need my spirit kissed with scented hope

And silvered dreams of all my life could mean

If only I could grasp this faith

That slips between my fevered hands

And travel to those promised lands

That shine so sharp and blinging

But I have problems with the door

A butterfly that cannot soar

I end up sitting on the floor

A child-man who cannot roar

Wondering just what I am for

And sighing

And I know here and here is lost

I also know you’ve paid the cost

To melt this numbing permafrost

You have gold keys to set me free

HopeGogglez that can help me see

And you can make me more than me

And fix this busted broken man

This rusted crushed and washed up can

This brain that’s sunk so deep in spam

This always also-ran

If only you or I will show

Then I could see and I could know

The view from your Big Window

Just call me soon if you could

I’ll come by taxi through the hood

And climb the bloodstained stairs to you

Or take the lift to 812

To see the view as did John

To know exactly where I am from

Cos in my dreams this child is gone

But can again be won
