What if God, for you, didn’t have the time?
Do you think that would be just fine?
You pray for Him to answer your pleas;
You are even down begging on your knees;
Waiting to hear His voice speak to you,
But all you get is a cell ringing tune.
Cancer has struck without a warning;
Find out how long the following morning.
Ask Jesus to comfort and soothe the tears,
But He’s busy right now texting His peers.
An eye opening to turn the tables our way;
But this is what happens to God everyday.
We go to His House and text on our cell;
Or even let it ring out like a dinner bell.
If you want Him to hear your prayer each day,
Then turn off that phone and you are on your way!

But God is having a drink or two.
A twenty year long job is gone without a warning;
A search for a new begins in the morning.
Ask Jesus to comfort and soothe the tears,
But Jesus is with his friends having a few beers.
An eye opening to turn the tables our way;
But this is what happens to God everyday.
Sunday sickness that Saturday parties can bring,
As we go to His House and pray and sing;.
If you want Him to hear your prayer each day,
Don’t drink that poison and you are on your way!

What if God, for you, didn’t have the time?
Do you think that would be just fine?
You pray for Him to answer your pleas;
You are even down begging on your knees;
Waiting to hear His voice speak to you,
But God is tired and yells a curse word or two.
Great winds have taken your home without a warning;
Can’t even find strength to face it the next morning.
Ask Jesus to comfort and soothe your tear,
But swearing and cussing is all you hear.
An eye opening to turn the tables our way;
But this is what happens to God everyday.
All week long using words in vain of the King,
Then we go to His House and pray and sing.
If you want Him to hear your prayer each day,
Wash out that mouth and you are on your way!
