Though it’s not often been told:
One of a spirit inviting,
Where peace and comfort unfolds:
Of your time as a gift--
That’s love in exchange!
Of yourself that you give--
Nothing expected in return.
My brother, my friend,
On you I can depend;
A friend in-deed,
When I’m in-need:
Gratitude is in your nature--
Admirable in many ways!
Never ceasing to care,
Encouraging always!
You’ve painted a picture stored in my heart:
Of humility--a gift to be desired!
You are an answered prayer:
Of love that never retires.
You are special, you are dear,
And in my heart these thoughts will remain:
Love never fails for love comes from above,
And it comes right back to us when we give love.

Thank you Daniel. I'm glad it provided such inspiration.
That was beautiful both in the way love is rendered and the the expressions of appreciating it. It so connected to my spirit to the point of being inspired.
