Always, Forever, Beloved

We might not do everything right,
But still be assured you are loved,
Whatever our faults, this one thing stays true,
You're always, forever, beloved.

At the end of the day we are tired,
You might find our patience runs low,
But always, forever, just know you are loved,
Whatever emotions may show.

We'd like to have all the answers,
But still we are doing our best,
To follow God's leading the best that we can,
Though often by life we are pressed.

One day you also may parent
And then you will finally see
It's not always easy, mistakes will be made,
But this fact remains ever key:

We might not do everything right,
But still be assured of our love,
Whatever our faults, this one thing stays true,
You're always, forever, beloved.
