“No fault In Christ"

St John 18:37-38: Pilate therefore said unto him, art thou a king then? Jesus answered, thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him what is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

Here in this chapter we read how Jesus was taken captive by the chief priests and Pharisees to be turned over to Pontius Pilate for judgment. The Jews wanted Jesus Christ crucified because he said he was the Son of God making himself equal to God therefore The Jews accused Jesus of blasphemy.

Everything that Jesus spoke of to the Jews was true. Sometimes people cannot handle the truth so they call it a hard saying because they cannot hear it. Jesus did miracle after miracle showing signs and wonders but the people seeing that Jesus was a man refused to believe. The Jews sought to stone him because their hearts were hardened to the truth that Jesus is God.

Jesus Christ Is the Son of the living God because he came in the flesh born of the Holy Spirit. No man can do the things that Jesus did except he be God and we know that Jesus is God, for the scriptures says “I and my Father are one”. Jesus came to take away the sin of the world and redeem all who would believe. Pilate knew that Jesus is the King of the Jews, the Son of the Most High God, that’s why he said I find in him no fault at all.

There is no fault in Christ because Jesus is the truth. St. John 14:6 Jesus says I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh unto the Father but by me. There is fault in other names, there is fault in man, there is fault in other doctrines, there is fault in religion but there is no fault in Christ. Jesus Christ the first, the last the beginning and the end. The Word of God says there is a way that seems right but the end thereof is death. Jesus Christ is right and in Him, there is no death. The Lord shed his blood so that even Pilate would be saved.

In conclusion, there is no man or spirit who can find fault in Christ. He is the Creator of all things. Jesus was sinless, but became sin so that we might be made the righteousness of God through Him.
