We fell away;
   from 10,000 charms we just walked away.
We're in the dark,
   and we can't see just what our lives are for.
Until we're told
   this Hope that we ignore.

Look at Who made the stars,
   made you more than you are.
The World thinks of you
   as animals in a zoo.
No love's in their mind,
   killing their own kind.
In them there's no nerve
   to heed the Word.

He loves us all
   only wanting that we won't trip and fall.
He is the Word
   but He can't make us choose what we are for.
We all know
   we must open up that door.

The Word will tell us more;
   we own that keyless door.
When this circle ends
   we still have a Friend.
Where do we go from here?
   The Way is Jesus near.
This life is a testing room
   for what will come soon.

Have you really just stopped to know
   Who is behind the door?
