NO VOICE NO CHOICE

Deep within a dark place I live
Not much to do but lie and wait
I feel your every movement
I sense and feel your heart beat
Don’t you know that I can hear you?
I am trying my best not to be a burden
If you give me a chance I will make you proud
I have been in this dark place for awhile
Giving my best to see the light of day
It won’t be long before I leave this place
There is so much I can learn from you
Hopefully you will learn a little too.
If you give me a chance I will be there for you
If only you could hear me in this dark place
You would know I have feelings for you
If you could hear me I would say I love you
If only you could hear me before it’s too late
But we both know you have decided my fate
I won’t get a voice in the matter of the choice.
