Encouragement

Be not discouraged nor be dismayed
at the way things happen at times
For God holds the reason for it all
and he will renew our minds

For all things are working for our behalf
no matter what the cause may be
He has never been defeated and never will
and he's working it out for you and me

We may not always understand
why troubles come in like a flood
But we know through it all who holds the answers
for he purchased them with his blood

He preserves us with his wonderous power
to overcome the highest mountain
And he won't let us to be defeated
when we drink from his flowing fountain

For it just keeps flowing more and more
at each trial we do forbear
And when we need another refill
he whispers softly that he's right there

To give us strength to continue onward
in whatever that comes or goes
For he's that comforter when times we're low
to help us through every wind that blows
