Once you have conquered the feat at hand
and have bored the thorns and snares
You now can look with a sigh of relief
for you took on each and every dare

Many times it wasn't a pretty sight to see
it was a test of wills from the start
Through pain and trouble, at times they doubled
but life always plays it's part

For this is what makes us grow
to the place, God, wants us to be
So our faith is tried and put on the line
and we can't rely on what we see

We press forward to the mark that awaits
and with each step God's word inside
To lead us through to reach our goals
for in it we have a place to hide

So now we can look beyond the horizon
for there's no defeat when you trust in God
And we have his assurance he will be our help
for what better friend to have on our side

Mary,
Thank you for blessing my soul with your beautiful and compassionate words. You are gifted to speak like the Angels and calm the most troubled soul (I know because you calmed mine)...I know that I need to look to my faith, I know it like I know my name, (it gets a little hard sometimes) those are the times when you can't breathe from all the pain, but heart sings out a Hallelujah, and a voice brings me here, to wonderful creatures like you who will guide my hand and pull me through. Thank you for blessing the body of Christ and for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you to speak to me. To God be the Glory! May Our Heavenly Father richly bless you, and thank you, my heart says thank you.
