Our God is not a forceful God; we must come to Him of our own free will... BUT make no mistake it is written our God is a jealous God, a God of Justice and refuses to be mocked.

America and most of the World are hurting right now. The sight of this has taken its toll. Watching those brave men and women who have the devastating task of search and recovery without regard for their own lives.
I have had many inmates, families and friends ask me, So where was God in all this? How could He let this happen? As a Christian who seeks to live a godly life, facing many trials of my own have prayed often to God WHY? God created a “perfect world”; man sinned, changing the good God had created for us. God’s Word tells us I place before you good and evil, choose. We brought evil into this world; God has given us a guide of how to live our lives through His Word. He tells us, knock and the door shall be open, seek and ye’ shall find.
It is so evident to me when I read and listen to all the events of this act of terrorism, how God has been with all these victims. The phone calls that went out from so many people at the World Trade Centers, calling home to loved ones, saying “ I love you”, saying good bye. Their voices seemed almost calm. They spoke of people trying to get out, yet no one was panicked, no screams to hear in the background. You can be assured God was there. Calming their spirits, showing His presence.
The calls from the planes, calmness filled their voices also. Giving account of what was happening, saying “ I Love You”. The plane that fell short of its target landing in Pennsylvania, God was there with those passengers. Giving them strength, courage and peace. They knew what they must do. One flight attendant from that flight was a former Police Officer whose wife spoke of how he had brought people to Christ during flights. God did not create this evil, but He has ever turned His back on us. His love, peace, and presence was with all those victims. His presence has also begun to unite this world once again.. ONCE WE began to call upon Him for His help. His healing, His Wisdom and strength. We are seeking as a whole and we are finding. Prayer in school has occurred again, prayer on television from our leaders, we are going to heal and become a stronger Nation again.
So many stories are going around through the Internet, so many scams and stories that bring a preconceived notion we knew this was to happen. Please be careful what you read, what you choose to forward. I believe we must pull together to heal. We need to focus on where we go from here, remember all those who have perished, BUT we do not have to give those who are to blame any more recognition. Let’s glorify our heroes, our Nation and our God!!!
Father, I thank You for the healing You have began in this Nation. Healing that goes much deeper than this disaster. Thank You for being with those victims giving them peace and allowing them the gift of saying that final “I Love You” that most never get. Help our workers find any of Your children who are clinging to life under that rubble. Guide our President and the leaders as they begin this long trial of justice. May it be in Your will. Thank You for loving us and giving Your Son. We love You because You first loved us.AMEN
