Who hath been the Lord's director or who hath given Him advice?
He sends down rain from heaven so that the earth brings forth her fruit in its season.

He feeds the animals from afar; he feeds the animals and gives
them their meat so that they are satisfied but his noble ones despise His glory and wisdom.

All are self seeking through and through. They covet vain glory and despise the holy One of Israel. With a jealous eye do they cast scorn upon the favored of Jehovah and rally around the table of the flatterer to hear the mischievous tongue speak vanities.

The shepherds that the wandering ones sit under are false and speak hypocrisies; they speak flattery every one with his neighbor and the congregation of the dead sit under judgment.

They praise every one who casts a smile upon their countenance.
The hungry ear listens to instruction which appears wise but has no spiritual understanding.

The well attended mimick their masters doctrine. They turn a deaf ear to the stranger who comes before them and they hearken to the voice of those within their dead chambers.

Let us sing to the Lord say they but their heart is far from the one they profess. But the righteous will shine forth as the sun and those who have wisdom will give heed to their counsel.

Life and peace will be to the man whose ear is tuned to an understanding heart but death and destruction will be the food of the wicked who wander out of the path of judgement.
