May I in Christ find satisfaction full
May I in Him be forever thankful.
May I in Christ full pardon find
May I in Him have His wise mind.
May I in Christ find jubilant cause
May I in Him praise always His laws.
May I in Christ show mercy and love
May I in Him be a gentle dove.
May I in Christ be meek as my master
May I in Him kill all my sins faster.
May I in Christ be low on a level
May I in Him resist the proud Devil.
May I in Christ be strengthened to stand
May I in Him be found a worthy man.
May I in Christ cleave fast to His side
May I in Him conquer all known pride.
and with this prayer may I always abide
in Jesus Christ my Savior, Lord and guide.
