Beneath the brilliant stars tossed perfectly in the sky,
I have whispered heartfelt prayers to the One who knows why.

Prayers said for His pure love to rapidly flourish and increase,
And prayers said of wicked wars and for cruelty to forever cease.

In every breath I remain secure in knowing my prayers are heard,
Sleeping peacefully all the night upon the promise of His Word.

I trust in our almighty Lord who created each and every star ,
And pray for people around this world ,those both near and far.

I dream of heavenly songs and trumpets playing in His glorious city…
For Christ’s love saved precious souls that serve Him in Eternity.

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
For thou, Lord only makest me dwell in safety.
