Peaceful Song


Time
steadily
passes
by and
yet
we
stop to
wonder
why we
can not
know
what
the hour
will bring
but remain
grateful
for the
peaceful
song
made
by
a small
feathered
bird
that
lives
to sing.

The flowers appear on the earth;
the time of the singing of birds is come,
and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
