O' life at times, you won't play fair
and I know it will never be
So a few low throws, must come my way
but, I shouldn't let this stop me

So, the game is still on, O'life I accept"
and will take my place at the plate
Have no need to practice, no rules to change
I will meet you at any time or date

We can play it all through, be it night or day
not afraid of the field you choose
I know how to endure, rather mines or yours
why, for I'm not looking for to lose

I've come to accept life, as a delight and wonder
and it's in the bad, well as, the good
I've found if I aim right, keep holding on tight
things will work out the way they should

For if life would show us, everything up front
we'll be ducking and diving everywhere
Behind trees and bushes, any place we can find
not realizing, it was nothing there
