O' house you will need a little bit of work
so to please the builder at hand
For a few boards are loose, you'll need a boost
so you will be able to stand
The oncoming trials that beat against you
trying to tear down every inch of you
But be encouraged you're in the best of hands
and he will help you to get through
For your carpenter has, the right equipment
and his tools are the best kind to use
Made of the right stuff, by his hands
that you cannot afford to refuse
From head to feet, attention is needed
starting with the head where thoughts do occur
but he will apply more grace on your rooftop
When at times the wrong one's reoccur
O' building of mine be thankful
that you have the Prince of Peace in you
And he knows every structure of the building
so his job is to, renew
For he alone knows it's framework
and in what it will need within
So to keep the foundation from crumbling
a craftsmanship that knows the outs and ends
He will settle you with his peace and joy
and apply mercy upon each wall
And spread love inside the windows of the heart
O' house he will not let you fall
He will attend to every little nook and corner
and with loving hands he will repair
When at times it does get damaged
so it will need his tender care
With each step, the floors will be balanced
The outsides are sheltered from the winds and rain
for in his word, we can, find safety
From the storms that come filled with pain
the Master builder knows how to reconstruct it
And to established it by his hands
And there's no need to worry about it's upkeep
for under him it is able to stand
