Here is a short email letter from my former girl friend Lisa Sanders who I knew back in 1985. She broke my heart when she broke up with me and within a year she married a doctor. Lisa was the love of my life even if our relationship didn't last that long. Perhaps it was just infatuation but I thought I had found love. As a result of our break up I started reading many Christian books on what made relationships work and books about love, and dating from a Biblical perspective. I learned many things but being stupid and unconverted I still didn't have Jesus Christ as the Lord ruling in my life. Neither Lisa or I were true converts to the faith even though we thought we were.

After many years of being out of communication I was put back in touch with Lisa through a friend of mine named John who tunes pianos. He happened to get called to Lisa's house to tune her piano and they both realized they knew me. John told Lisa I lived in Hollywood and he did a three way phone call. We remained friends for several years thereafter. Here's her response to one of my emails.

I agree with you. No special treatment should be given to the gay population. That would be admitting it's okay for them to be doing the horrible things they are doing with each other. It is not normal by my standards. What they do behind closed doors should be kept behind closed doors. I personally do not want to even think about the unimaginable things they do. Hey, it's their life that will be judged in the end. It's not my job. But, I'm allowed to have opinions. They can rot!
