RETIREMENT?

Retirement for me won't be till Heaven I see,
Until then there's much work to do.

Like caring and sharing and listening and such,
Some lonely heart that just might need a touch.

Oh! I'll take time to draw close to my God up above.
For only through Him do I find strength and love.

And I know that I must schedule sometime to rest,
For only then will I give Him my best.
Prop my feet up and just sit at my desk?????????

And of course my family will need me especially,
For I must 1st touch the hearts that are closest to me.

Oh! And I'll take sometime to let my mind be free.
Just time to relax and let go and be me.

Retirement? No way! At least not today,
May not get much pay,
But there'll be time to play.

And to my God I'll make time to say:
Thanks, Thanks for the memories.
