Lord wrap your love around me
blanket me with your arms
Shield me from the wars without
and keep my soul from harm
Put your light over my head
Curtain my heart with your hand
keep me with your joy divine
and give me, the power to stand
Cover me with your comforter of love
cuddle me in the pillows of your breast
secure the doors of my heart
Be my hiding place to rest
allow your angels to camp around me
watch over me day and night
Send a comforting word to sustain me
let my soul be your delight
Preserve the fruits of righteousness
That you have planted in my heart
so they may grow each and every day
and let them to never depart
O' Lord keep my feet from slipping
go before me and brighten the trail
Put your shield of protection all around me
so my soul it will prevail
It is always weeping for your help
asking you to keep it free
From all the hidden snares and traps
knowing every one of them you see
Speak to my heart of good things
so to meditate on them through the night
and when morning arise let them be my eyes
so when cloudy it will be my light
For I cannot face these battles alone
I need you to guide me in every way
Lord you see I'm only but a child
needing your help each and every day
Let your loving arms spread so wide
to catch me just incase I fall
Let them be a cradle to carry me
for only on you my soul can call
Now Lord take this prayer in consideration
for I am pouring out my heart to thee
Let it come to your attention
please seal it up in heaven for me
