There is a harbor awaiting
A harbor of love and peace
The Lord has prepared a slip just for you
And waits for your soul to seek

There is a harbor awaiting
Which the Lord has prepared just for you
It is filled for your filling and haven
Your heart He wants to renew

Why have you missed this smooth spot?
Why do you choose the rough seas
Without first coming into the harbor
Where the Lord is waiting for you?

O, the sun was bright and the sky so blue
I thought I would go it alone
But thank you, Lord, for the storm that arose
For the wind that buffeted and blew
That turned my direction here, O Lord
That sailed me right into You

Into the harbor of peace and love
Into the harbor You drew
That is just the right shape and just the design
For me to be filled with the filling of You
