LIFE’S STORM

Sometimes life presents raging storms
The kind that turn over boats that sink
We live in a world of changing norms
Caught in the winds, life on the brink.

No matter how you try, the storms come
It’s how we come out of them that matters
A few do alright, others become numb
The storm of life blows and it scatters.

In life’s storm we share the same boat
We go through life hoping to hold sail
Put on your vest don’t forget the raincoat
When the boat floods get ready to bale.

As long as you still have life that’s a start
There is one we can call on to calm it all
The Son of Man, ask him into your heart
He’s been there all along, listen for his call.

He is not only the Savior of all souls
But the one who encourages a dreamer
Rescuing us all through life’s toll
Comforting we all have a redeemer.
