CURRENT EVENTS TODAY

Current events happen everyday
Like any other the world’s a play
Lives, mystery, business and such
Everything begins to be too much

Today we have Egypt’s election
A new government world reaction
Previous ruler now on life support
Thought he had died, wrong report.

Syria shot down a Turkish jet
Serious action could be met
Downed in International space
Nato meeting to take place.

Obama versus Romney polls
Up and down go the tolls
Kind support for one man
Support changes as it stands.

America’s wealth gap widening
White folks wealth increasing
It’s inequality by the race
America’s getting a new face.

An earthquake off Russian coast
A 6.1 a strong trembler at most
No danger of a tsunami yet
Everyone’s eyes open you bet.

Our world is but a stage
For happiness and rage
Breaking news the event
People protesting in decent.
