AMERICAN P.O.W.

Our motto is No Man Left Behind
We brought our brother home
A casualty of war, he lost his mind
Now he is left alone to roam

Help the American P.O.W.

America, the land of milk and honey
A hero young he volunteered
Other countries you send billions in money
For him he wonders lost now eyes teared

Help the American P.O.W.

Incapable of thinking or holding a job
No home he is left to cry and pine
His mind the horror of war did rob
The streets he’s left to live for all time.

Help the American P.O.W.

The war to fight he was so hired
Proudly fighting for America was his perception
Unable to fend for himself he now feels fired
This wasn’t his expected reception.

Help the American P.O.W.

Yes no man or woman should be left behind
They served their country well
America don't pretend you're blind
It isn't their fault they fell.

America for our men and women, better we can do
They sacrificed all for me and you
When we celebrate the red, white, and blue
Remember the fallen American now a P.O.W.
