FEAST OR FAMINE

Millions suffer famine in Africa daily
That’s what the Ministry of Agriculture says,
Poor land and farming production deteriorating
cause for mass migration for better ways.

Go North is the call to the diamond mines.
There, wealth may be obtained but at a cost.
Food shortages create risk most will take.
Better than starvation and life lost.

Recently it looks like some improvement has begun
Farming support to the West, started commercialization
Giving the people a new hope, a new lease on life
With effort and hope the seed planted for revitalization.

Africa the center of famine and starvation
War and genocide, need some form of relief
So many heart breaks so many lost lives
In their hungered eyes they increase in belief.
