THE INVITATION

As God looked out into the expanse of nothingness He said,
“In our image I will make man
How I wished from Satan’s lie he ran
From my garden now man will I ban

The world I created has become perverse
Until the end he will suffer and be coerced
War, hunger, and death will he traverse
Still my love for him will not be adverse

I will send Jesus my Son
I will undo what man has done
On Calvary cross I will make Satan run

I have heard the prayers of mothers
Come oh Fathers, Sisters and Brothers
It’s time to lay down arms and love one another

Accept my Son Jesus and I will not delay
The gift of salvation I will give you this day
My eternal love I give you if I may
Choose life from these words I say
Jesus is the truth, light and the only way“
