THE HOLY SPIRIT

A symbol as a tongue of fire
A gift for all Christians to desire
We’ve been blood bought and sanctified
Now be filled with God’s power.
Oh God let your anointing flow
Fill us with your power as we go
Your love and reflection, let it show
Let us tell everyone we see
You’ve set Satan’s captives free
Set us ablaze Oh lord, have your way
Give us the words we need to say
You sent us your Son, Jesus is the way
You created each and everyone
Through Christ’s sacrifice the battle won.
