In the shadow of His love
Will I live my days
Content to be shielded by him
An aegis against all edges.

In the shadow of His love
Will I spend my time
He is my fortress and refuge
A retreat under the shade of His wings.

In the shadow of his love
Will I travel always
He makes a path in the wilderness
I can never be lost with him around.

In the shadow of His love
Will I offer my life in faith
When my breath is on a low note
He fills me with His own very breath.

In the shadow of His love
Will my heart whisper
He is precious in my eyes
A divine coating of multi-layered love.

In the shadow of His love
Will I spend eternity
To gaze at Him forever
For the million of years to follow thereafter.
