You don't stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old
because you stopped laughing.

I'll bet I know of something you take for granted every day --
gravity. Have you ever greeted someone and said. "What's up?" If
it weren't for gravity, maybe everything would be up. It's what
keeps the coffee in your cup, your car on the road, and the food on
your plate.

Have you ever considered that maybe God chose the earth as the
only planet for which to create man, and the only planet to which
He sent his Son because gravity was just perfect for the purpose? If
gravity were any more it would take a lot more powerful engine in
your car to defeat it. If it were any less, your car wouldn't hug the
road, especially on curves -- it's just right. Just think right now of
all the ways gravity works to your advantage and then thank God
for it.

Never take any of God's gifts and graces for granted -- be
constantly grateful. Psalm 8:3-4 (nlt). "When I consider your
heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which
you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him..."
By comparison to the universe, we are as tiny as a grain of sand,
yet He loved us enough to send Christ to die for us. That IS
"amazing grace."
