I look out at the ocean,
At the waters of the sea,
At the never-ending passage of time.
Relive those memories
That have come to be,
And remember that age
Is just a state of mind.

One more candle
Is left to burn.

Lights the sky.
With God by my side,
I let faith be my guide
As I make a wish
Upon the stars that shine.

I walk along the shoreline,
Along the water's boundaries,
And feel the wet sand
Beneath my feet.
The past is behind me,
I let it slip free
And take me to a future
Filled with possibilities.

One more candle
