There are days when nothing
Turns out right,
And I feel so lost
And alone in my plight.
Just when it seems
That I can no longer cope,
You come to me in spirit
To give me comfort and hope.

You are the air
That I breathe
To keep me alive
And feeling serene.
You are the strength
That I need
To conquer my fears
And set me free.

There is no one else like you.
Your words are simple
And full of truth.
You gave me your love
Right from the very start.
I keep it here close to me,
This love in my heart.

When my faith in you weakens,
At times, I stray
Until I become lost
And cannot find my way.
But despite my mistakes,
Your forgiveness
I see.
Your love is bathed
In simplicity.

You are the inspiration
That I seek.
Without your support,
I feel so weak.
You are the light
That surrounds me
Throughout my life,
That heavenly star
Shining so bright.

There is no one else like you.
