Sunday 5/20/12 Pastor Michael The Payback=God’s Divine Reward System Matthew 19:27-30

Our country is in debt 15 trillion dollars and the average household has $15,000 in credit card debt. The average consumer has 5 credit cards. The total consumer debt is 2 trillion dollars. The total debt for each household is $54,000. The average college student graduates with $20,000 in debt. The way it looks, it seems that we cannot pay our debt.
Verse 21-26 Jesus was teaching the rich young ruler and His disciples on how to be perfect. Jesus said to the rich man to go sell all he had and give it to the poor. The rich man left because he wasn’t giving his money to the poor. Peter ask Jesus what they, the disciples, will get for following him.

1.) Sacrifice All vs. 27:

People want the benefits but don’t want to give God everything. Follow God daily, have God in the center of your life and be the priority in your life. God has to be #1 Top Priority! Everything else falls underneath that. We have a ongoing relationship with God. We depend on Him.

God’s purpose for our life should be Priority #2. He has called us not to just look good but to do good! We put more money in our hair weaves then on our getting closer to God and getting prepared for God.

Priority #3 should be our family. We need to have God in the center of our family. Don’t ever get with someone that loves you more than God! We need to have someone that loves God more than us so when we get crazy, they will pray for us.

Priority #4 should be our church. We need to be in a good church where people are praying for us. We can’t eat at everybody’s table and we can’t go to everybody’s church. We need to be where God wants us to be spiritually-in church. We need to be committed to the church. Don’t be ½ timing the church. Don’t shack up with the church! Commit! Commit to the church so God can make a commitment to us.

2) Surrender All vs. 29:

Those who follow Jesus shall receive many times over what they sacrificed. God is prepared to pay back all! We have to take our agenda off the table and have it all be about God’s Agenda. We must have faith in God. He takes care of us. We make a profession of faith in Jesus. We should tell everybody we got what we got from Jesus! Tell them we go where never could go before because of Jesus!

We will receive many times as much as we sacrificed AND we get eternal life! We get our payback! God multiplies what we gave up so we have more than we had before. Jesus will speak to our finances and all we give, we get back a hundredfold! Our finances are going to be multiplied and we are going UP to our next financial level. Our family will be multiplied also. We will get spiritual brothers, sisters, mothers and more. We will get a better family, a family of Faith that will come into agreement with us. When we say we are sick, they will know to pray for us.

God is going to give us Favor in our Future! We will have Favor in our Finances! Favor in our Jobs! FAVOR!! THE FAVOR OF GOD!!!
The first shall be last and the last shall be first! We will be First!
God is going to Pay us Back! Royally Reward Us!!
