God says You Talk Too Much

Hey! You over there, I hear your prayer
You rattle on and on all the time
You're like the Network News on Channel 9

Everywhere you go, no matter where you at,There I am
yet you scream and holler like tarzan

you fuss about her and you fuss about him,
but you forget about the trouble that your in.

When the cat took your tongue, I saw you take it back
its amazing you don’t give me a heart attack


You talk about people, you don't even know
And you talk about places, you NEVER go
You talk about your girl, from head to toe
I said your mouth's moving fast, but your brain's moving slow
this might seem a little harsh comin from God
but I must say that I find it rather odd

that you say you love your siser and your brother
but treat them like you’re their mother


You're the instigator, the orator of the town
you talk so much you make the walls of Jericho fall back down

Has anyone ever told you, that talk is cheap
when you worry about yourself then my blessing you will reep
you cant take the speck out of your neighbors eye
when your own troubles are piled so mighty high

Talking is the one thing, that you can do best
if I placed you in a whale it would have pain in its chest

You never have the story, right and exact
yet you always bore me with your yakkity yak
Don’t you think that I already see
The mundane things that you want to tell me


You're always spreading rumors, whether bad or good
Its like you’re the watch dog of the neghborhood
But as your loving father I listen all night
Even though I know all you want to do is fight


it's everybody's business that you love to mind
You even want to tell me how I should do mine

I want you to spread the good word like its your job
instead you act like a stool pigeon who works for the mob

You should be telling the world about my son
But instead you try to convince me that you’re the one
Who came to earth to save others from their sin
Its everyone else’s business that your in

A big blabbermouth I don’t need
iT is for these people’s sins that my son did bleed

when my son resurrected it was to give you new life
I am your god I don’t need a nagging wife


I said that you should work six days and on the seventh you should rest
But intead you come to church and that is when you give it your best

You criticize her and you criticize him,Should I remind you of the mess your in?
quit pointing your finger at others and remember your sins!

come to me with your prayers and don’t criticize another
Im their father but your not their mother.

I am a loving God, it is true
Consequently I got a lot of work to do

If you gve your blabbing a rest
Then I promise you will be blessed

So my request is simple but wont be easy for you
Shut up, ive got work to do!
