I Am Still Here
My God, My God where are you? God I need you present in my life. I need you to bestow your blessings on my life. I need your Spirit ruling and reigning in my life. I bring my all and all to you God and lay at your feet. You said that I was to present my body as a living sacrifice for you and your will; that all of my sacrifices to you and for you would be acceptable in your sight. This is my reasonable service to you. You had Paul begging us to listen. My body God is that natural part, that material part; I am a human being that needs you Lord. I have life, am active but what am I doing with that life? Is the work I do pleasing in your sight? Why do I function in this world? For what purpose do I exist in this world? God where are you? Then God in that still small voice says “I am still here” waiting to bless you.
Well Lord is my sacrifice offered to you worthy? I know all that I offer to you is precious in your sight. I know that all of your sacrifices for me was done out of the love of a father. God with my whole heart I love you. How can I say that? I say it because you first loved me with an undying, unselfish, committed love. You love man so much that you gave of all of yourself. You gave your darling Son Jesus, Your Word, and Your Spirit that I may live. God told Moses when he came to the burning bush to take off his shoes for the ground he stood on was Holy ground. Moses received instructions from the Lord and brought the people to the promise land but he himself could not go into the promise land. We can bring God’s deliverance to man but we ourselves may be a castaway. How we come before God is important. Our worship, praise, and honor to God must be acceptable; capable, or worthy of being received or welcomed in His presence. Lord I give you my all and all but is my all acceptable unto you? Is my all pleasing in your sight? Lord where are you? “I am still here my child”.
Adequate endurance without protest or reaction is acceptable. Being regarded as proper, normal or inevitable is acceptable. Matthew 5:44 says we are to love even our enemies; can we do that unconditionally? This is acceptable to God and reasonably so. We have to be in agreement with the Word for the Word to be lived out in us. God’s Spirit moved upon the darkness of the deep and brought light to a dark world. Do we think God was not there? God was there and He spoke to the darkness and the Spirit moved upon the darkness. He was light in darkness. We don’t have to be concerned about who else believe just speak the Word; God is there. He said in Genesis 6:3 and the Lord said my Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh; yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. God promised us long life but because of wickedness of man by David’s time of reign he said by reason of God’s purpose man’s time in the earth would be threescore and ten which is seventy years.
Reasonable means we are willing to conquer the enemy with reason by being moderate and fair; having the faculty to be rational, comprehending and possessing sound judgment. It is our reasonable service to function or serve the Lord with honesty and truth in all situations or circumstances where God will be glorified. We cannot say we love God and disrespect His Order. We are to be helpful, useful, and in a servant’s position at all times. We have a prerequisite to carrying out this function of making our bodies a living sacrifice. This sacrifice is necessary in bringing us to an expected end in Christ. God don’t want us to take for granted the grace and mercy that has been extended to us as believers. It takes diligent work to continue to stay on the path Jesus has laid out for us to follow.
Genesis 6:5-6 and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually and it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. God wanted to destroy man in Genesis 6:7, and the Lord said I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast; and the creeping things and the fowls of the air; for it repented me that I have made them.
There is an estate of the wicked; haters in Psalm 36:1-4. David then went on to say that the Lord is my salvation in Psalm 35:3. The Devil may cut us up in four pieces but God is there and will put us back together again when we run to Him. False witnesses will lie; they say what they say, let them say. They did it to Jesus. They laid things to His charge that was not true so what more us that follow Him with all we know how. Satan uses people to do his bidding just as God does. He is a copycat of all that God is. If we are really children of God we have power to cast out the Devil instead of casting people out of the house of God. God never threw any of us away; thank you Lord. The Chief Priests put Jesus to death to cover up their own inadequacies. They laid things to His charge that only the Devil would know because Satan knew God. He was in Heaven with God.
Lord deliver my soul out of hell. God knows the way that we take. He knows about the false witnesses before they knew they were false. He knows our thoughts before we think them; those of peace and war. He knows when our thoughts are evil or good. Lord my fate is in your hands and not man; where are you Lord? My fate is in your hands, man is making me sick with all the mess and contention they harbor in the Church. God you know the way I take; I have been a blessing and is a blessing. Thank you Lord for all you have done; is doing and will do! Judge me according to your righteousness. Let not the foot of pride come against me. Let not the hand of the wicked remove me, for what do you have to do with the wicked.
If God can find one righteous that will pray, have faith, and believe they will find grace in the eyes of the Lord. If God can find one righteous as He did in Noah He will change His mind concerning the destruction of man. Lord where are you? Just as I was with Noah in that day I will be with you. I am still here. I need a people that will be just; having a basis in or conforming to fact or reason of the Word, reasonable in life, faithful to Me, and conforming to the standard of correction. I want one that is properly being in conformity with what is morally upright and good according to my Word. They are to be righteous, lawful, and being what is merited, fair, upright, unpretentious in their manner of living and entirely without fault; perfect and without defect, flawless satisfying all requirements in my Word. God you don’t ask much, just a lifestyle that lines up with your Word. God I can do that! Where are you Lord, I can do it? I am still here said the Lord. The life I want corresponds with my Word and is Spirit led. We can only walk perfect in God when the Spirit of God is moving in and through us. We are Spirit filled, Spirit led, and Spirit controlled. It is God’s Spirit that is perfect with His Word.
I am still here said the Lord. I know your plight and I care.
