the wisest of all the barnyard brood
he’ll tell you The animals banter, and gossip all the day through
chatter about things of little import; things about me and you
can you hear them

Day after day Ghandi watches as the animals unwittingly suffer from the chickens wrath
Every Day Ghandi speaks up as the sun reaches its noon day position
with three Honks and a hiss
the animals suddenly stop and listen.
As his pewter grey torso contrasts with his bright orange web feet and beak he waddles so confidently to the center of the yard- he spreads his impressive wings lined with white- a beautiful sight- he opens his leather bound vitae and looks it over-
He has decided what to do-
today my barnyard fellows-we shall address Silence and Speech
A Collective OOOOOOOOHhhhhhhhh went through the menagerie Baahh Meow Roof Cluck Neigh He Haw
Honk Honk Honk Hiss
Ghandi Gander says this:
Some animals keep silent because they have nothing to say, while others keep silent because they know when to speak.
Whoa- the lamb bleated, the hen clucked, the cat meowed and the donkey he hawed-
Ghandi knew they could not be silenced for long because they knew nothing of quiet, and so he continued

Quite fell upon the yard
Ghandi retorted
Its fruit discloses the cultivation of the tree; so an animals speech discloses the cultivation of the mind.
The pig Oinked a vulgar note from his snout and ate the fruit
the Ewe baahhed a blaspheme one more time
Both pondered what that really meant but neither could weed that garden!
Honk Honk Honk Hiss
Quite fell upon the yard once again
Ghandi repositioned himself for another redress and mouthed these words from his steely orange beak:
If you blow on a spark, it will glow
If you spit on it, it will be put out; yet both come out of your mouth.
The dog thought how profound as he lifted his leg and peed on the fence- the dog is so cras- as he started sniffing the other dogs Ascot.

Ghandi just shook his head and muttered I hope you get my point He waddled moving west - knowing he must retire soon- this uncultured brood just tires me out.
Let me leave you with this last report before I shuffle away-
If you stay too long under the functional end of the chicken- expect to get pooped on
