Sin No Longer Abide

Where love is sin no longer abide.

How can we say we love God and continue in sin? God forbid! How can we go on with someone else when our heart belongs to another? Is that fair to the next person? How can we love the people that hurt us the most? Did not God say He was married to the backslider? What happen when love walks out of your life? Can we really be real? The facts are stacked up against us; either we will love the one and hate the other or hate the one and love the other. Hatred stirs up strife but love covers all sin. God said that we should love Him with our whole heart, mind, soul, spirit and body. Everything in us must be submitted to God. We are not our own but we belong to God. A wife therefore belongs to her husband but how can she fully submit to someone she don’t love? It’s a cold empty feeling!

When sin no longer live in us we are free and God will come in and abide. If we need true love for God to come in and abide, how much more man. We cannot replace the love of God with things; there is no comparison for the earth and the fullness thereof already belongs to God. God wants to dwell in the warmth of our hearts, cooling down the body of sin in our minds, falling into a backing away of sin syndrome, and springing forth in the life of man. Love without God is like an empty pan in an oven trying to cook something that’s not there. Empty feelings produce a hatred for what we should love and a love for what we should hate. Loneliness produces actions otherwise should be dormant in us. Why marry when we are not in love? Is it fair to the other person? When we come to God we must drop off all the baggage of sin if we are to prosper in the relationship. That is where sin no longer abides in the heart of man. Will we true with ourselves?

Why have shingles about something you don’t want anyway? Just let it go. I can do good all by ourselves. The enemy tells us otherwise but we know the truth in our hearts. God will always make a way for His people, for those that love Him, honor and respect Him. God is not a man that He will lie to us. Satan now on the other hand won’t only lie to us, but will steal all of our goods and place the blame on God. Satan is associated with lies, thievery, and deception. Why would anyone want to associate themselves with someone that possesses these character traits? The Devil comes to steal all that we have any way he can get it. We, even I have fallen victim to the deceit of Satan time and time again. Thank God He loves me; for where would I be today.

Marriage is an honorable estate. Over the last eleven years I have come to learn more and more about marriage and honoring the vow. Just as in the natural so in the Spirit; we owe God to be true. We must work on making our mind and heart to follow God, His Word, and His Spirit; then the body will follow. When we love like God says to love the Devil will ride your back; he never gives up on winning a soul. So if we love God why don’t we have a passion for souls? Something is wrong with our love if we don’t love what God loves. When a woman marries and loves her husband he may be gone but never forgotten. When there is no closure concerning why they are gone there is love manifested in the heart. We must have that peace and know what really happen to cause them to go. People come in our lives and leave for no apparent reason is like a man that gets save and just leave God. The difference is God knows everything and we can’t hide from Him. Truth has ceased to abide and sin comes in for the kill. If a woman is single she seeks to please God; if married she seeks to please her husband. But what if that husband is not there to please? Well we live as a single woman and please God. We can’t love God and Satan.

Where sin abides there is every evil work. Some of the things women go through at the hand of a man are ridiculous when we can love God, serve Him in Spirit and Truth and be happy. I have learned over the last eleven years more so in the last three that love can be genuine; so why do we allow ourselves to go through pain and hurt. God sees all of the pain, tears, and heartache and He is faithful to deliver us. In spite of all we go through we must first and foremost love God unconditionally. A marriage outside of the covenant of God is a marriage full of emptiness. A marriage that is one sided is full of pain and emptiness. A marriage where one loves God and the other don’t is a marriage full of fighting and disappointments. Love has got to be the motive for marriage and if it is not then there is no joy, peace, or happiness. No matter what you do; it will not work. A marriage between two believers; have its ups and downs. If it is not ordained of God; God will not be the center focus and the marriage will be full of sin.

Sin abides because we don’t love God like we say we do. Sin catches us in the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth because all of our senses are affected. We sin in the body, in our mind, heart, soul, and spirit. We have been told not to touch unclean things; well we touch it because we see it. We allow the picture of sin to penetrate our minds. We are to see not, taste not, or hear not anything considered sin. Don’t delay to give God His due and every area of life. Our relationship with God is unprofitable without love. Blessed are we that consider God in our life. Honor God in our substance and goods. If we have mercy on each other we will forgive. We have to get our minds right and stop trying to do our alms before men; they will fail us.

Obedience in marriage is one thing in righteousness but what about in wrong? It’s a very thin line when it comes to being obedient concerning the wrong. Does a wife need to obey in wrongdoing? The difference is in submitting. The Bible says that wives are to submit themselves to their husbands in the Lord. In the Lord means that the husband won’t lead her to anything other than what’s right. Don’t tell me you are taking me to dinner at the club. Why introduce me to a sinful setting if you love me; if you love God even more? Let us not love in word, neither in tongue but in; deed and truth. What is contained in the tubes and cells of the bones; the bones, the essence, the best part; the marrow. Genesis 2:23 and Adam said, this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh, she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man. We are man’s best part; the better half. Sin therefore no longer abides concerning the marriage covenant.

Love is the manna rained down from Heaven in the Creation, freedom from sin in the Resurrection, and reigns in redemption always. Love and freedom from sin in our loins is the source of our strength as we walk in the promises of God. Love causes us to seek out the more of the Word that we jump through the loops of life. To keep sin out we must come full circle in finding out the more of God. Be strengthened with all might according to the glorious power of God. We must wear God everyday just as we wear clothing. Love induces a desire for the presence, possession, well-being or promotion of its object; so when we walk away from sin we seek for the love of God. The love and obedience to God is commanded. Love is strong as death so sin brings death to the love that God has for man. God always love so it is us that leave that love. We don’t love God and sin abides and every evil work. Let God’s love remain in us and work through us that there is no dissimulation; for the love of God is on the inside.

Remember without ceasing the work of faith and labor in love God gave us. When the love we have is of God every one that loves is born of God and knows God. To know God is to love Him and to love Him is to keep His Commandments and to keep His Commandments is to keep His Word. Loving one another is how God dwells in us and to have his love perfected in us we must keep sin out. Sin no longer abides in us because God’s Spirit then come in and dwell. His Spirit leads and guides us through all truths. God’s Spirit abiding in us manifests the presence, power, influence, or wisdom in our life that was preordained from the beginning.

It’s time to put sin out! It’s time sin dies and God comes alive in us. They that commit sin willfully will so evil, speak evil, and act evil. Sin is a burning fire that digs up evil every day. If we look for it; it may be found all around us. No longer does sin abide within us when we are fully submitted to God. The Holy Spirit is always there to lead us and guide us in all truths. A good man out of the heart brings forth good things. Isn’t that good news? Jesus brought forth good tidings; we don’t have to sin now. Sin is a choice, make up our minds today to follow after to know God. Sin births forth evil; let’s do away with the evil in our hearts. Sin says we did wrong and shame says we are wrong. It’s time we slay the enemy of our soul by putting him back under our feet where Jesus put him. Come up out of the muddy groves of sin and come into the glorious presence of God. We cannot see God if we continue to live in sin to do sin in the pleasure deceptively given us by the enemy.

It’s time to rise out of sin and go back to the Lord. We don’t want to be the least in the earth but the abundance of what a godly life gives. We were shapen in iniquity and conceived in sin but we don’t have to continue therein. God will blot out our sins today for our sakes and will not remember them anymore. Seek Him while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. We must forsake our self-righteous ways and thoughts and return to the Lord. God will come in and abide in us, pardon our sin and have mercy upon us. Repentance and remission of sins has been preached to us and we have heard the Word; now it’s time to comply where sin no longer abide.
