“Redeemed”

This is about Jesus, I love so dear.
Who saved my soul and gave me no fear.
I don’t deserve a drop of His blood.
But He washed me with His crimson flood.
The life I lived of sin and shame.
For only I could be to blame.
I heard the words but didn’t care.
I was not ready for His cross to bear.
He wanted me to see the light.
For years and years I put up a fight.
I thought that the world had it all.
Then one day I heard His call.
This gift He wanted me to take.
This decision, only I could make.
He showed me that I was deeply lost.
And He paid for it all on the cross.
I do not understand why He did this for me.
I guess it’s not for me to see.
I got down on my knees to pray.
I asked Him to save my soul that day.
That day I died and was born again.
I started all over with a new friend.
A change man for the world to see.
All because He lives in me.
He paid it all on Calvary cross.
So God’s children would not be lost.
You see one day I will see His face.
And worship Him in that beautiful place.
Heaven is there for us all.
Will you listen for His call?
This is what He would have me to share.
So you can feel His tender care.
So if would like to have the same,
All you need to do is call His name.
You just need a little faith.
And you too can see His face.
These words I write don’t come from me.
It’s all from Jesus and it’s free.
