“A Good Book”


There is a book I like you to read.
It helps you with your many needs.
The words contained are sweet to hear.
Given a chance it will take your fear.
This book is divided in two parts.
Reading it will change your heart.
It was written a long time ago.
It tells you things you need to know.
So many stories are in this book.
Are you willing to take a look?
If it is wisdom that you seek.
Open it up and take a peek.
There are so many things waiting for you
Study this book it will help you through.
As you read it you will find out.
Just what this book is all about.
Beginning to end it’s all the same.
It leads us to His Holy name.
This book is all about the Lord.
It is sharper than a two edged sword.
It will cut you deep and wide.
And your sins you can not hide.
In this book He tells us the way.
To live our lives from day to day.
He tells us that He is coming again.
Here the thing, it doesn’t say when.
So read this book and study it hard.
Ready yourselves and stand on guard.
Sow your seeds while you can.
On God’s word make your stand.
If there are questions in your head.
About all of the things that I said.
The Bible is not hard to find.
