Victory at Hand

Slipping,Sliding,Sifting,Sand
Letting it run from your hand
Scattering out about the land
Its direction was unplanned
Crumble,Crash, Cave, Cower
All done outside your power
Satan seeks out to devour
Seeds before they flower
Declaw,Despair,Defeat,Destroy
Instruments he will deploy
To lead astray with a decoy
He may be crass or coy
Powerful,prowless,,passive,preen
He operates evil plots unseen
To trip the seasoned or green
Lives seeking to be serene
Recant Repent Redeem Reborn
Holy of Holies’ veil was torn
As Jesus removed the thorn
No longer must we mourn

Congratulations on being selected for the FW Jewel Chest! Your poem was very creatively written. I liked the way you arranged the words on a few of the lines so that they began with the same letter and they related to each other in some way. I also liked the rhyming pattern. Very nice!
