We could spend hours together writing and drawing. For puns sake, you draw me in. There is nothing about you that could ever repulse or anger me. Your kind words and rough carpenter hands, the way you draw with sticks in the sand. The scent of you is not unlike pine warmed by the glorious sun.
Curling up in your arms I come undone.

One look from your radiant eyes and I know I you're in love. The love I see can not be explained. Truth is revealed that I have never been plain. You make me feel beautiful and loved without a word; I know you are jealous for me. I will experience no heartbreak at your scarred hands. Although I have rejected your tenderness and love many times over, you are not selfish. Despite my failings your heart awaits me, it is opened and vunerable.

Just as I should be to you.. always.

I know you have waited for quite some time. You welcome me back, you sing and rejoice over me, you dance! So Jesus here I stand, tears in my eyes, ring lost from my left hand. I crawl into your arms and wonder.. why so long have I denied the hurt and pain I held inside.
After all I've put you through, one look from those eyes says to me, "Welcome home Katie, I love and will always forgive you."
