While browsing the news the other day I read about 108 year old Alice Herz Sommer. I whistled, Joyce came barging into my writing nook and after reading of Alice remarked, "Larry, she doesn't look a day over 107." When 104 Alice told her life story in a book titled, A Garden of Eden in Hell. At 83 she had cancer and as a young woman she survived Hitler's Concentration Camp. Alice still practices piano for three hours every day.

Alice was asked the secret of her great spirit and her longevity. The answer she gave is available to all and recommended by Paul the Apostle. "I look where it is good."

She learned to look where it is good in the concentration camp. Her Garden of Eden while in hellish places as concentration camps was in her mind and heart. In the book of Revelation, John, writing from Patmos demonstrated the same outlook. There is one major cypher in the combination to unlock the inner power of people like Alice and John.

Paul reveals this Key in Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
