My longtime friend, Kenn Gividen former gubernatorial candidate for our state recently suffered heart problems, bypass surgery and is recovering well. In response to one of my articles Kenn reminded me of an ad that ran in different packages but the message was the same. The ad showed a man staring out a corner office window seeming to be looking at nothing. The wording asked, "Why does XYZ Company pay this man $100,000.000 to stare out the window?" The answer is obvious in that the company understood the value of organized creative thinking.

According to Daniel of the lion’s den fame, one of the marks of end times will be the hustle and bustle of our time, he termed it "Many shall run to and fro" meaning hustle and bustle, just being busy with no time for thought.

Many people of Judeo-Christian background love the Psalms and one word used over and over in the Psalms is the word, Selah. The primary meaning of Selah is to pause and ponder. As most people to whom I speak do not grasp the pause and ponder concept I use the idea of getting un-busy and think. I have actually tried looking out the window for inspiration. I find that meditating on God's Word is more beneficial to me.

Psalms 119:59 "I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies." Now there's a good thought.
