The Eyes of God

A child is born
With eyes full of God
Life is explained
If one only looks
Straight to the soul
Sights of wisdom
The spirit of God
Purity of the angels
Amazing love
Speaking loudly, yet softly
Deeply, yet outwardly
Reaching out, drawing us in
Commanding adoration
For this heavenly fashion
Created by God
Touching our hearts
Pools of holiness
So much to say
If only one listens
Softly, quietly
Hearing by sight
This child's eyes
The eyes of God
